Those of you who know my husband and I, will know that we LOVE football...well, my husband REALLY loves it. I like to think that I was tortured to watch it so much that I've grown to love it. I'll never forget the first time I was caught watching a game. Que dream sequence....It was a fall Monday evening..in 1999..and I was skinny....and trying really hard to do my college algebra homework...Eric was of course watching Monday night football. I couldn't help but glance up at the TV every once in awhile to see what he was screaming at. I guess one time I looked up just as an incomplete pass was thrown..I said "OOHHH"...Eric turned to me.."Did you just "oohh" at the football game? I tried to cover up by saying "umm..ehh...no I was saying, Ohh this algebraic equation is a doozey!" He didn't buy it at all..from then on I began asking questions and watching more and more football.

My husband especially loves college football, not just any college football - Oklahoma Sooner football.

During our trip to Oklahoma we visited the mall. While we were eating our lunch in the food court we noticed a sign off in the distance..it read something about Sam Bradford's Offensive line here tomorrow. HOLY COW!! Could it be true!! We were going to have our own celebrity sighting at the Shawnee Mall?!?!?!

It turned out that the OU Offensive line that played with Sam Bradford that were now in the NFL were going to be at the mall. Decked out in our Sooner t'shirts Emelie, Jamie, Robbie and I went to the mall. We met and even TOUCHED the following:

Me and D.J. Wolfe (Check out the bling yo!) He took his shirt off right after we took the picture..he was in a wife beater...I should have gotten another picture. My stalker sister did manage to get one from a distance....

Robbie and the guys. Robbie didn't recognize them w/out their football gear on. Phil tried talking to Robbie, but he kinda rolled his at him - Sorry Phil! These guys have no idea that they are taking a picture with the worlds BIGGEST football fan! This boy watches football year round. We have mountains of VHS tapes of recorded games. Thank goodness for DVR. We kept signing to him football, but after awhile her started getting angry with us. Emelie & I thought that maybe he thought we were teasing him thinking he was going to watch football.

After we went thru the line and got footballs, my parking sign that says "OU Football Parking only" and pictures signed Robbie won a old school leather OU Football. Darn!! We had to go thru the line again. Twist my arm!!

Just to note - Jamie did wear an OU Shirt even though he is a die hard Mizzou fan & now alumni. After we met the guys for the second time I had to call and brag to Eric. Thank goodness he answered the phone...all I could say was "I just touched Jon Cooper!!! I just touched Jon Cooper!!" He knew exactly who I was talking about. He was so mad that he missed this weekend. Not too worry I'll make sure to rub it in his face - a lot!

When we got back to the hotel we ran into some guys from the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and one guy gave us his autograph...I didn't want to be rude and ask who are you, but smiled and took his autograph..I'll have took look him up shortly.
