Bunco

I played Bunco this last February with my friend Joan and I had so much fun that I HAD to start my own Bunco Group. We have named ourselves "Bunco Bimbos" I may or may not have been drinking when I thought of it. My sister-in-law was really creative (and possibly intoxicated) when she came up with calling the winner the "Major Bimbo Bunco B*@!+!" She was proud, but we all laughed at her..

This month I chose to host...I love to be the hostess with the mostess and I usually like to have it themed in some sort of way. Makes planning seem easier. My theme this month was in honor of one of my favorite "Bimbos" my sister, Emelie. Quick background story: She's is going through a divorce...Bunco happened to have fallen on what would have been her 10 year Anniversary. The divorce also happened to be finalized that very same week. Kinda sad to think about it..Let's just say that the EX is horrible or shall I say..WHORE-ABLE, hehehe...

I usually don't take pictures during Bunco, mainly because I'm the only one who really drinks. I managed to take some pictures, but just to warn you I had already started on my bottle of wine.

Some people have birthday cakes, wedding cakes or shower cakes...well I had my all time favorite bakery, Susie G's, make a "Divorce Cake". I had previously bought my sister the jewelery box to go on top of the cake.

Here's a closer look of the cake...Susie was creative to add "Here lies Emelie's Marriage". You can't read the casket, but there is an engraving that reads "6 Feet isn't Deep Enough"...

I think Em knew that something was up because I left her a message on her voicemail telling her that I needed her to bring her wedding ring. I did promise her that we wouldn't be hurting or damaging it in any wasy, well not until after we burned some personal belongings of the ex....like she really cared anyway.. Glad to see she got my voicemail.

I also requested Susie G to make cookies as shown above...Thanks Susie!! We ordered 20, there were only 5 of us and I didn't get any leftovers...can I say an Oink!Oink!!

I also served baked weenies...get it??? Ha! I picked up this really cool voodoo doll / toothpick holder...

I found some cute sayings online and printed them up... I really couldn't help myself...

It took my mom a few minutes, but she finally got this one...

Kristen and I...her Birthday is next week, so I got her the Lolita "Birthday Girl" glass. Notice the beads around her neck..yeah...she won the Bunco Prize.
