I can't believe how fast time flies. It seems that the older I get the faster my days and weeks go by. Our house has been busy getting ready for school to begin. Tomorrow all three boys have their first day of school.
Patrick will be starting Second Grade, Wyatt begins Pre-K (going 5 days a week) and my baby,Quintin starts preschool too! He's only going to go 2 days a week, but still...where does the time go?
Last week I had to literally drag Patrick to meet his teacher. He was convinced that he was going to get homework when he met her. When he gave into the idea that he had to go...he began to tell me that "Let's just go - Say Hi - and leave! You can't talk to her for 90 hours!" Geeze, I think he's got my number. Granted it was only one hour that we stayed - not 90!
Last night Eric and I took Wyatt & Quintin to meet their teachers. This should be an interesting experience. Quintin has been spoiled by his Nana for the last 2 years. He began his night searching the room for cars, trains and helicopters. Once he found them, he tried to stuff them in his pockets...Wyatt is actually in the phase where he LOVES school. He was so happy to meet his teachers, but also very happy to leave within 5 minutes.
Even more interesting, Eric will be the one to take two boys to school in the morning. He won't have a problem with Wyatt, but Quintin...hmmm...it's hard to tell. Either he'll be a "Clinger" or he may not care. After all he'll be going to a room full of toys. Who knows? We shall see...
