First Hair Cut

All of my boys have had the blessing of thick curly hair, poor things! Babies with curls just look so darn cute, right?

I didn't want to do it, but my baby got his first haircut last week. A couple of things that indicate to you it's time for a haircut are:

1. You're sharing your hair products with your son

2. People start asking you what your "daughters" name is

3. Your brother offers you a pair a scissors for you to use

4. Your dad tells you to take the pony tail out of your SONS hair.....what?? I thought he looked cute and plus he could see??

Beside all of the subtle hints from my family I got my moment of realization at the mall.

I was at the mall finishing up shopping for my niece at Claire's. The store is filled top to bottom with headbands, rings, ear rings, purses and other accessories that every 13 year old girls needs. Quintin decided to throw a fit in the middle of the store because I wouldn't let him play with everything. Of course everyone turns to look and see who was making a poor helpless child scream at the top of their lungs. As I felt all eyes piercing the back of my head, I heard someone pipe up and ask "Is she okay??" SHE?, SHE?!?!, my goodness he's dressed in flippin' track suit that says "BOYS Athletics" all over it. I gave the lady the benefit of the doubt because hello - I was in Claire's - a store for girls and well......the track suit was red. It was an honest mistake I'm sure. But I'm made sure to say very loudly that HE was okay.

So here are some before & after pictures of Quintin.
