All right ~ I know Labor Day was eons ago, but I feel compelled to post some pictures of the fun we had at Bill & Shelly's lake house. I'd hate to post things that aren't in chronological order. I'm weird like that.
Usually we head up to the lake house for long weekends around a holiday and there are usually 25 plus people all gathered in/and around the house. This time however a lot of people weren't able to make it up. Granted I missed everyone, but it was nice and quiet.
Weekends at the Lake usually begin with everyone hiding their keys & cell phones from my children. All three of them are obsessed with keys and Quintin is possessive of phones and other electronic devices. After keys are zip-tied to the respective 4-wheelers and the tractor keys have been placed high - the fun begins.

Here is Patrick, My niece Adriane, and My Brother-in-law Bill. I'm not certain, but I think Adriane is giving Bill a set of keys that she had confiscated from Wyatt....
Patrick loves to go 4-wheeling. There are a ton of trails to go on through the woods. We didn't bring his 4-wheeler up this time ~ it's broken thank goodness. Last time we brought it, we were able to fold the seats down in the mini-van, put the 4-wheeler in, put the seats back up, load the kids in from the back and like the Hoosiers we are, we headed to the lake house. You should have seen the look on everyone's face. We pull up and everyone says "Man! I thought you were bringing your 4-wheeler?!?" Then we opened the sliding doors and they found that we had managed to squeeze it in the mini-van. It was priceless!
Patrick had to get over the fact that if he wanted to ride the 4-wheeler he'd have to wear a PINK helmet....

Wyatt got his chance to ride on the 4-wheeler with Adriane too! I love to capture sweet moments of the boys helping each other.
So...Patrick loves to ride the 4-wheeler...Wyatt on the other hand...we kept finding him on Uncle Bill's trailer. I'm not sure why, but he was absolutely fascinated with it. After doing a head count, I realized that I was missing Wyatt. When I found him, he was on the trailer..surprise surprise, but what was funny was that he had tied himself to the trailer and was playing "puppy dog" with the dogs.
