Home Made Christmas

This year, it was decided that since money is tight for almost everyone; we should have a home made Christmas for our family gift exchange. My family had Rylie, Amelia, Emelie, Hope and Zach. On a side note, Zach is married to Rose. Rose happens to be our old neighbor from when we lived on Deborah Drive. Long story short - they celebrated Christmas with us.

A little birdie told me that Rylie would really like something to keep her animals' toys in. I tease my sister that she has a growing farm. They have cats, dogs, birds and a horse.

Here are some pictures from Wyatt & Quintin making Rylie's gift. This was one of those things, that sounded like a good idea.

I did manage to change Wyatt into some clothes that it didn't matter if they got covered in paint. Quintin on the other hand, well, I think I was out of diapers this day so I put him in a pair of "Big Boy Undies." I started with laying down some newspaper, thinking that it would cover most of the area. I didn't have an old sheet or anything - I did contemplate doing this project in the garage, but it was way too cold!

They're doing good. I'm so proud of them!

"I think Tank was up to something...he's winking at the camera."

Okay, I think about this point I was starting to get nervous...

The newspaper somehow managed to start disappearing.

At this point I was yelling to Quintin "Don't you MOVE!!"

"Stand right THERE!!" I'm pretty sure Quintin would have said "What mom? Did I do something wrong?"
Here's the proud painter. Overall I was really impressed with the paint job.
Dear Santa,
Please bring mommy some Goo Gone or more Magic Erasers to clean up the kitchen.
Thanks,
Crazy Mom in St. Louis
