Lately I have been busy with school and my home life of course. I met with my advisor last week to get registered for the upcoming Summer semester. I was a little bummed to hear that I have a few more General Education classes to take. I have almost a semesters' worth of classes: Statistics & Probability, Literary Analysis, Macroeconomics, Speech and a Computer Literacy class...man! Here I thought I only had Speech to deal with....that's all right the extra classes will be good for me, right?
There is a bright side, my advisor told me that I'll be graduating in 2012. Although, that seems soo far away!!!
Also, fast approaching is "Birthday Bonanza" in our house. Patrick's birthday is less than a month away. I know I'm trying to be frugal with my money, but I ended up booking his birthday party at one of the local kid friendly places. I weighed my options and decided to go somewhere that the kids would be hands down completely entertained, someone else would be responsible for the set up, cooking and cleaning of the party. It's totally worth the $100 I'll be paying.
Speaking of being frugal...it's just my luck that my husband is laid off, again. We can deal with this. I don't like it, but I can deal with it. I have prepared a budget that we are able to work with. When it rains it pours, so I set up my budget and next thing you know I have people coming out of the wood works for money. For example: doctors appointments that I took the boys to a few months back, I guess the insurance didn't cover for one thing or another, bills from the dentist because the insurance didn't cover a fluoride treatment yada yada...Can I get a break please??
Anyways I'll try and be better at posting..
